Adam has worked Fonua very hard to get him in shape. Expect to see him in top shape for the start of next season.

Can I just remind those who may not have quite taken into account the fact that Fonua also broke his arm in december & on his return from that re-broke it, therefore he hasn't exactly had a seamless period of playing throughout this season.
So my advice for what its worth is give him a break of our own (No Pun Intended) wait until next pre-season & season before writting him off. I for one in the little amount of time we have seen him see alot of what I like & can see he could well be a very good 8, So trust the Club/scouts who spotted his potential & let the guy show us that given the time to develop.

In the Mercury report about Cockers' thoughts on the final, it says that Fitzgerald has a back injury and O'Connor (as stated previously) a calf problem. We won't see either of them this weekend.

No Hot Charlie that is based on the total number of appearances he has had this season mostly as a substitute but about 3 or 4 when he has started. I would never base my opinion of a player on one performance.

Agree with the front five and bench - assuming you're just giving Marcos a rest rather than him being injured? I'd rather see Fonua start at 8 - he needs game time - with Evans starting and McCaffrey covering 7.

This will be Garner's 99th Premiership match. I wonder if he'll change hands afterwards? :smt037

Nice to see Rosey back, much better ref than Horses A.

The club will throw everyone into this match - it secures the semi. They can't afford not to. The EC has cost us big time, and we need to go away in the semi with a rested first XV. Don't care about Barf if we don't need the points, don't kill the players for nothing.

If Garner plays a part in the result of the match then we've got something else massively wrong.

Warriors scored 35 points when they played Wasps, they can cause anyone problems and they absolutely have done.

The problem is that this could be a close match anyway, Garner could easily influence the outcome and it might not be pretty.

Strong team this weekend, with maybe a chance to rest a couple against Bath if required if Exeter happen to beat Wasps.
