Freddie Burns on instagram says " Injuries are part of sport and fingers crossed I'll be able to still have some influence on the remainder of the season."

Daily Mail reports "England centre Manu Tuilagi faces medical assessments on Monday to determine the extent of a knee injury that could rule him out of Leicester’s play-off push.
Despite playing all 80 minutes of the defeat by Racing 92, the 24-year-old left the City Ground with his left leg in a brace after the joint seized up after the final whistle.
Tuilagi told Sportsmail that ‘someone fell on it’, with early diagnoses suggesting a medial ligament strain that could rule him out of Saturday’s game against Worcester."

Two very key figures over the next 4 games...

TBH i would of rested both for Wuss anyway.

And if we beat wuss @ home we could have basically 2 weeks to rest players where needed.

But hopefully both players will be fine for after if the case.

Be a real shame if he is out for rest of the season. He is playing well and deserves an England chance again.
Hopefully he's just out for Worcester and can come back for bath and run in if only on the bench.

Both Manu and Burns have been on form, I'm sure Manu will, if fit, be away with England and Burns has been doing his own case no harm at all, and I would have him ahead of Ford on current form, although I guess England will still go with Farrell if Manu and Slade are in the centres.

Let's hope they are minor knocks or sprains rather than significant injuries, both for them and Tigers.

As well as Freddie does anyone know what state Harry Thacker is in as he looked in some pain when he came off holding his arm?

If Freddie & Manu are indoubt then we have Owen & centre wise we have Matt Smith who would be a very capable centre in place of Manu.

The last information I have on Matt was is return to play on the 28th March not heard anything else since. So Iain your guess is as good as mine.

With Ford seemingly showing no improvement and Fazlet possibly ruled out of the England tour for disciplinary reasons, does Freddie have a chance of making the squad for Australia?

He is on top of his game, playing better than ever before.

Spoke to Freddie at the awards evening last night. He is out for at least next 2 months and may need surgery. He seemed fairly philosophical about it but he must be disappointed
