I have just had a look at tickets for the Premiership final at twickenham.
How can the RFU justify charging people £85 to watch the final. The cheapest ticket I have found is £52.
The pricing of tickets is getting a little stupid if you ask me.
Maybe the RFU should look at what football is doing, limiting away tickets to £30. Can there not be a limit in rugby also?
Ripping the fans off if you ask me!!

Rant over..
Come on you tigers!

be thankful you're not a stains fan- From the Mercury
It was disappointing to see so few Leicester fans in the crowd at Franklin's Gardens on Saturday – though the ones that were there made a right noise. I would have a strong guess that the reason was due to the prices the home club were charging for away supporters' tickets. Supply and demand dictates pricing structure at all sporting events and Franklin's Gardens was sold out at its new increased capacity of 15,249. But the knock of effects of charging Tigers fans £43 to stand (and £31 for under-16s) at the Gardens was fewer away followers than I can remember. For comparison, tickets to stand at Welford Road for the home game against Worcester a week on Saturday are £28

and you have to watch stains!!

We're on a slippery slope with ticket prices. It always used to be that rugby was the cheaper alternative to taking your kids to the football. Not any more.

I've been a regular going to watch Tigers at Saints for a number of years, but drew the line at the cost of tickets this year. I was told, by a Saints fan, that tickets to Saints fans to stand on the terrace were £28 for the game last weekend.

Prices are becoming unsustainable for many fans...
It is no wonder WR has been full very few times this season to my knowledge

They can justify it based on the number of tickets they sell. Last years attendance was 80,589 (less than 1500 shy of capacity).

I think you may have misheard.
It is
£38 for their last home game against Bath
FG is expensive for everybody. £5 to park (it was £3 not so long back). Beer £4 a pint. But it's nearly full every game.
You're either in or you're out

The semi-final this weekend is not going to be anywhere near a sell out.
I brought tickets at £35 but i still thought that was quite steep. Would never think of paying £60 for a ticket.
The same goes for international matches. Just look at the World cup matches, the cheapest england ticket you could get was £75 which is crazy money

£35 for a semi final I'm just about okay with. £60 is rather steep.
Twickenham is hideously overpriced.
Saints are now taking the mickey.
Tigers may be pushing their luck too much with a bigger stadium.

Interestingly enough only this morning I had an email from good old Wowcher offering Premiership Final tickets for £24 each.

This sums it up very nicely.

Well hopefully Tigers will be able to charge less with a higher seating capacity?
Saints must be charging more for only having 15000 or so seats.
I will be interested to see how much the tickets are for the European cup Final are if we make it there.
Come on you tigers!

Steap? Is that somewhere between cheap and steep?
