Just noticed that Ellyse (Toomua's wife) is playing for Loughborough Lightening in the womens T20 this season. Be worth a visit she's a good player

Best player in the Australian team in all formats imho.

she is, made her debut for both at 16, expect she'll likely sign with Notts County or Birmingham City Ladies in the WSL as well

She has already stated that she will NOT be coming over here because of work commitments

I think you'll find she actually DID say that she's coming over here to play for L'boro but won't be relocating for the whole year- just splitting time between here and Aus.

It's not the best of arrangement for long term stability if he/ she are living apart for long periods, loads of reason to have/ want to go back etc. Hope it can be that both are living here.

For the sake of clarity

Quote taken from the article just posted............

“There’s a new women’s cricket competition that’s starting up in England in the middle of the year, so I’ll go over for that, then come back for the Australian summer,”
