Seems a very low key way of announcing the extension of 3 world class front rowers :smt017

Reported that scrum half Nic Groom will be moving from Capetown (Stormers) to Northampton.
Presumably, replacement for Fotoawotsit?

A year or so ago, there was an extraordinarily quick winger at Oakham School. Was he ever picked up by the Tigers Academy?

Gavin Mortimer reporting that we have offered a contract to Luke Hamilton, a welsh back row player currently at Agen in the Top 14. Strong carrier and top tackler in the Top 14 this season!

Definitely feel we need a new body in the back row, maybe he can do a job at 8, maybe he's the man!

A very good player, apparently, although maybe more of a wing forward than an 8.
Above is a link for you all.

You mean Tyrese Johnson-Fisher? According to this link he is still doing both Sprinting and Rugby and doesn't mention being affiliated to any academy's, unfortunately if he does choose rugby he seems to have a soft spot for a few of the Bath lad's

Ah, wing forward! Those were the days! The second rows played behind the front row, and the lock at the back in the middle. Nostalgia! :smt025

In regards to Luke Hamilton, he looks like a beast of a bloke who could deffo do the job at 8 for us, however he mentions wanting to stay in France multiple times so I wonder if its just agent's talk

Of course! How could I forget a name like that! (at may age, quite easily!)

If he has these "soft spots", then he's better going to Bath :smt002

He was with Tigers but he is now Focusing on Track solely I think.

Well according to his facebook he is.

Can't see Tigers being 100% keen if he is in minds between the two still.

I've looked at Agen's teams in recent weeks and Luke Hamilton has indeed been playing at 8.
