Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”
Re: Andy Goode
The second retirement. Great player. The proof that brain is more important than physical capabilities.
Re: Andy Goode
Why is he not retireing at the end of the season, I cannot access bbc today
Re: Andy Goode
He was only on a three month contract.arickett wrote:Why is he not retireing at the end of the season, I cannot access bbc today
Re: Andy Goode
He was signed as a temporary replacement for Mike Delaney who was injured. I guess it was an injury dispensation from the salary cap and since it was for 3 months only and expired at the end of March they've presumably decided not to renew. I can't imagine that Newcastle are close to the cap so could have re-signed him until end of season if they'd wanted to.

Now Andy Goode's 3 month contract included daily flights to Newcastle and presumably flight excess baggage. A true servant of many clubs and a great Tiger so hang up those red underpants and enjoy.
