Apparently Simon Cohen posted on Twitter that he could not play today due to playing regulations....lets hope this can be worked round.cowmadiddy wrote:Manu needs the game time, I'm not sure why he didn't come off the bench yesterday I'm hoping Jones and Cockerill had an agreement and he's back in Leicester.

Well if that is truly the case then Simon Cohen should publish or quote these "playing regulations" especially when Goode is allowed to play?????? Its nothing short of a disgraceful farce!Tigerbeat wrote:Apparently Simon Cohen posted on Twitter that he could not play today due to playing regulations....lets hope this can be worked round.cowmadiddy wrote:Manu needs the game time, I'm not sure why he didn't come off the bench yesterday I'm hoping Jones and Cockerill had an agreement and he's back in Leicester.

I understand and empathise with the sentiment Sapajo however Goode was cover and not in the 23 and Manu was...

Still wouldn't be surprised if Tuilagi were to be an 11th hour replacement on the bench for Matt Smith's "flu"!

Goode can play as he wasn't in the 23.sapajo wrote:Well if that is truly the case then Simon Cohen should publish or quote these "playing regulations" especially when Goode is allowed to play?????? If say Manu got injured and Goode replaced him he wouldn't be able to play today for sarries regardless of game time.
Re: Tigers v Saracens
So, if Goode wasn't in the 23, how come he got a medal?

So if a player got injured in the warm up he would of came in.
There isn't an argument about him being in the 23 as he wasn't.

Law10.2(c)
(c) Throwing into touch. A player must not intentionally knock, place, push or throw the ball with his arm or hand into touch, touch-in-goal, or over the dead ball line.
Sanction: Penalty kick on the 15-metre line if the offence is between the 15-metre line and the touchline, or, at the place of infringement if the offence occured elsewhere in the field of play, or, 5 metres from the goal line and at least 15 metres from the touchline if the infringement occured in in-goal.
A penalty try must be awarded if the offence prevents a try that would probably otherwise have been scored.
My husband is very upset about the end of the first half. Says should've been a Leicester penalty.

Thank you boys! I shall enjoy that one tomorrow as much as the grand slam. Winning a little ugly but the defensive effort was a great improvement on last week.
Thacker good in free play but can we not dance about in the line. Liked the Owen and Freddie show too.
Remy time!

Re: Tigers v Saracens
A good well needed win for the Tigers, probably the best game for Burns in a tigers shirt, Williams played well at centre, good break for the try but was weak in the tackle for the Saracens try, front row was good, Doyle really cant ref the scrum and was all over the place with his pen decisions, Betham was outstanding, so was McCaffrey,. The TMO was again making interesting decisions, Doyle asks to see a high tackle on McCaffrey and then TMO plonks on a so called Ayreza neck role, good on Doyle sticking with his decision. Fonua was a beast when he came on and could be a star, be nice to see Manu, Cole and Youngs back starting next week, is a massive game!!!
