I preferred it when we started the season badly: at least things got better as the season went on.
Based on current form, Quins probably won't win either. Get your money on a draw, quick :smt002

Sack Cockers ( or some other poor sod whose out of favour) is the usual cry on this forum -no takers this time?

Mr Parisse is supposedly best friends with Mr Castrogiovanni who I don't think has a tremendously high opinion of Mr Cockerill so this is not a probable scenario.

Cockers was the one ,post match , to have shown any display of emotion. At least if you snapped him in half he would have TIGERS running through. Others ahead of the sacking pun. :smt054

Yes, guilty as charged guv'nor!
Having slept on it, the pack still can't push and that's a major failing. Agree that whilst Thacker always puts himself about, Crane coming on and moving Croft & Pearce around would have been a better idea as has been said. Given that the backs don't know each other, my expectations are clearly too high in expecting them to do anything constructive.
Agree with Dave J that ball retention was the major problem then followed by giving away silly penalties then followed by an inability to shove then followed by one of JPD's more unsympathetic performances.
As I am Keeping the Faith, we will win our next game so this thread is now dead!

If there are more posts ( pretend this one is but a figment of your imagination), does that mean that Tigers will rise from the dead, and play like zombies?

Oh, they already do!

Looking ahead at Irish and trying to stop it from being 4 do we go for a few risks and select a team like this maybe?

1) Ayerza, 2) Leo/Youngs, 3) Logo
4) Barrow, 5) Kitchener
6) Croft (played very well IMO), 7) Thacker/McCaffrey, 8) Slater
9) Kitto, 10) Burns
12) Manu, 13) Smith
11) Betham, 14) Veainu, 15) Tait

16) Leo/Thacker, 17) Brugnara, 18) Balmain
19) Williams, 20) Thacker/McCaffrey
21) Harrison, 22) Bryant/Bell, 23) JDV

Or do you stick to similar team and hope the form starts to pick up again and trust in the players?

Played there only a couple of times.

And I did say my risky team would be.

Doubt it would happen, but we need more punch in the forwards somehow.

That would be why you selected Barrow?

Whilst I agree that our pack does need a bit more umph, it is useful to look at why we gave so many penalties last night. IMHO it came from the fact that Balmain couldn't hold his side up but that it was also not entirely his fault. Harry Thacker found it difficult to pack well enough to help him. Every time he was packing above the bum rather that through the bum therefore any help he could give Frazer was limited. On the other hand, Lambert was given a lot of help from Wallace and Luamanu. They are experienced loose forwards who know how to scrum and help their props. If we are going to use Harry in this way then he needs to do lots of real work and learn the position rather than keep swapping from hooker to back row.
Hehehehehehehehe
