Thanks To the Tigers

Post by GB72 »

Seems that the only times I really post on here is when the club does something really nice and the weekend was another example.

Following the passing of my dad last week we were allowed to put flowers on his seat and there was also a short obituary in the match program.

These are only little things but if you had seen the look on my mum's face when she saw the green, white and red blooms on his seat you would realise what this small act meant. A few of the players even signed the container that the flowers were including JDV.

So, a massive thanks to the Tigers for another small gesture that made a grieving family smile and cry in equal measures as my dad had a presence at one last match.

That's fantastic. Shows the detailed care the Club can take. What a lovely gesture. :smt001

Thanks for sharing GB. So sorry for your loss. I wasn't aware that there was a mention in the programme or I would have bought one.
I'll contact the club to see if I can get one.
All the best

Depending on your outlook he'll have a presence at more than just one last match, he'll be there for all matches.

Condolences.
