Then the school boy error, face up Italy, don't turn your backs.

Final penalty seemed a bit harsh (though I only saw it in slow motion). But what a kick...!!

France need to rediscover flair. Bit 'english' at the moment!!

Castro didn't bring much when he came on, the passion seemed to have gone somehow(not that he was at fault at all).

On the French side, poor scrummaging (Rabah! Sort that out, you're the best!)
Average second row
Some good tackles but we've lost Picamoles, (replaced by Goujon for the Irish encounter)

Some moments of good rugby by Plisson, Danty, Fickou, Bonneval and especially Wakatwa. Or Vakatawa. Or however this is spelt. But an overall slow performance. :smt017

Good kicking by Plisson.

Probable loss to Ireland.

Ooooooh poor French ! :smt009

France very lucky indeed.

Slimani isn't bad but he is nowhere near the 'best'.

If Ireland had a back five pack as good as that of their last 4-5 years Goujon wouldn't even be an amuse-bouche let alone a mouthful.

Picamoles is an entirely different kettle of sole!

How can you possibly deny Slimani is "best" medal? Last season he put every French front five on the roof! Hail to Rabah! In Rabah we have faith! :smt026
