Tigers v Sale - Oh no it's TMO Tim Wigglesworth with whistle

Post by wormus »

I suppose when the first choice Referees are off on International duties then the premier clubs end up with the lower orders of Referees.
Quick get the second screen up for Saturday. :smt013

Surprised Wayne Barnes and Nigel Owens are not on international duty.

Trevor Fisher TMO. Just as well he's one of the better ones. If Wigglesworth is true to form we'll see plenty of him.

Just when you thought it was safe to go to another rugby match......
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Maybe he might get the flu...
On the bright side he cannot be any worse or more biased than last time.

We must have upset the rain gods this season! As far as I can recall we haven't had, probably amongst others either Dean Richards or Small at home so far? Neither is as bad as Wriggler :smt017

Would you prefer GG aka the horse's :censored:?
No disrespect to Sale but we should be good enough to take the ref out of the equation at Welford Road.
And if we don't start picking up 5 pointers, we can look forward to an away semi at Allianz or Sandy Park: neither of which particularly float my boat!

There is a good chance to get one over on Exeter this weekend, as they're playing Saracens.

Quite a few people seem to think that this Sale team are there for the taking - they are of course, but they're playing some nice stuff at the moment and are the dark horses this year. 5 Points unlikely I think.

No definitely would not prefer Garner! My main gripe is that Wigglesworth upsets the rhythm of the match with his constant indecision :smt017 :smt017

Re MR WIGG,
I see he has reached a Milestone, (millstone?).
Lets hope the occasion lifts HIS game.
I don't really like knocking refs, Mr Wigg should be more experienced with 100 games at Professional level.
So please lets have consistent decision making without constant referral to TMO and I for one will wish Mr WIGG the very best for the next 100 :smt041

Sale are not coming to make up the numbers and are challenging for Top 4 :smt039 :smt018

Hopefully there won't be any "I've found a reason why you should not have awarded that try".

Yes whatever's said about top referees Whistling Dick as he is known to his colleagues is not one of them. I think he sleeps with his whistle around his neck. Hopefully he might develop a sore throat before Saturday.

Awwww Noddy, and if you could develop a repetitive strain injury in your typing fingers, we'd have a perfect set then...
