Had to miss second half as reviving an old Eunos Roadster, so looking forward to watching it.

Great result, keeps us in the hunt.

A real smash and grab, but wow what a win! Sometimes character comes through in the end.
Get Grayson back in to help him IMO.

the Shed is a big ask for most 10's let alone one who played for them but he just wasn't there.

Shame as everything else of his is starting to to come off.

What's cheering me more than anything is that we got written off as unlikely to trouble the top 4 this season, Wasps and Bath being tipped along with Exeter (the bubble will burst) and Saracens (will lose in semi say Old Irish proverb). So many pundits chewing on their chapeaus I hope. :smt019

think it was more to change the balance we needed a crane IMO to steady all the throwing about.

Also more secure back of scrum than McCaffrey.
I think it is no secret that controlling the scrum is probably the weakness when McCaffrey plays 8, but what he gives around the pitch can compensate.

I agree and moving McCaffrey to 7 was the right call for that game the way it was turning.

Betham's out the back pass for the second try was sublime and got us to score a counter attack try like that was excellent execution and decision making.

Bell was poor as was Bateman in parts. Our defence was excellent in the most part too

Freddie has been kicking about 90% this season. Had a really off day for some reason. Great chip and chase though.

What a try. Crane, Veainu, Betham and Tait all excellent.

77% it said on RL earlier. But that's still good, although that % will have gone down after today! :smt002

Anyone else think it's daft when injuries mean we have only Burns and Bell who can play fly half to start both of them with one at full back?
In the process shunting Veanu, who has been electric at full back, to the wing just compounds the issue?

Mighty relieved we pinched that win.

Should give the guys a lot of confidence.

And that.. is one great try!

Freddie had an off day and this is not a criticism but why was he kicking when Bell is on the pitch? Bell's kicking is the best at the club due to the accuracy and enormous range. So does our 10 take the penalties no matter what? Is it a tradition thing? As far as I am concerned the best kicker takes the penalties not matter what position.
