Pearce and Sharks

Post by jgriffin »

Rugby Paper - Fissler - says Pearce has been up t'North to look around Sale following interest. I hope not, I was looking forward to a longer tenure than that at Tigers. :smt009
Also we are after Willis from Falcons, and Sale after Toby to replace Cipriani.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Toulouse fans might not agree....
His kicking percentages are not up to scratch and he has bulked up, consequently losing his pace.

Interesting bit from same articles was the fact that Cipriani leaving Sale is a 'done-deal'.

Following Toby perhaps? Perhaps that's why Toby is being linked with Sale. Nah, that'd be too neat.

Quins is the rumour I heard.

Bit odd if Pearce went to Sale - can't see him getting ahead of Beaumont, unless of course we do the decent thing and take Beaumont in exchange.

I hope Pearce stays, although I suspect he wasn't hoping to overthrow Jordan only to find McCaffrey stealing the shirt. To be able to rotate Pearce and McCaffrey, with Fonua providing impact, seems to be a good way to progress the 8 shirt.

Unless Sale want to sent Beaumont our way... :smt002

Would be surprised if Pearce left. He's on the cusp of being starting 8.

Don't know about Sharks but on today's performance he should be in consideration for the Saxons summer tour!!! Those two turnovers were sublime!!!

hopefully he stays, with rotation, injuries and a 23 player match day team, it's not like players will be on the sidelines for too long....
cheers

He is still Raw but obviously the coaches still rate him as he is a regular in the 23.

and TBH is he can't get ahead of McCaffrey (Who whilst brilliant isn't a natural 8) then how will he get ahead of Beaumont.

But as said i think we need to unburden Sale of Beaumont.

I hope we keep him..he is raw yes but is powerful and has a great knack at being on the shoulder as for the tries he scored from Croft and Betham offloads this season..

However if we were to get Beaumont I wouldn't be complaining :smt023
