Bye bye England career.
He pleaded not guilty.
12 weeks as the entry point (low).
1 week added 'as a deterrent according to World Rugby's regarding offences of this nature'.
3 weeks deducted for Ashton's good character and his good conduct at the hearing.

Remember that Williams got 6 weeks (reduced from 12) for pleading guilty to the same category of offence against Burrell. So in that respect it appears to be a consistent judgement.

I'm not entirely sure that Ashton has exhibited 'previous good character'. I may be wrong, but he's got something of a history of foul play.

Who will replace him is the question.

It doesn't say previous good character though. It says good character, so clearly he worse a smart tie and called everyone 'sir' and spoke politely.

Alastair Eykin, Twitter: 'Judicial officer 'not satisfied to the required standard' that Lee Dickson's testicles were grabbed by Ryan Wilson. Free to play ball.'

So, Dickson is, indeed, noble :smt044
