Hopefully Bell is angling for improved terms. A good versatile player, although shift down the 10 pecking order with Toomua's arrival - unless the latter is used more often as a 12.

A shame if so, but we can't keep everyone.

Slightly off topic re Tigers, but did anyone watch the Toulon game?

All that money spent on a team and they Perform so badly 2 weeks running against Wasps, they showed so little control of the ball that the coach must be blamed for this, he wants to watch his back very carefully, performance like that at home not good enough I'm sure for their owners, someone to add to the list?

Incidentally the cameras cut to someone in the stand and concentrated on him, he looked familiar but no comment made by the reporters, Quade Cooper under some fire, maybe a replacement for him, looked vaguely, very vaguely like George Ford with a beard. No doubt someone will have seen it and take the Micky out of me! :smt004

Toulon have got Trunh-Duc for next season. Wouldn't surprised to see Quade move back to Australia at the end of the season. He doesn't fit with the Toulon game plan.

They may need more than a new head coach, they had 70kg advantage over Wasps scrum and pushed them backwards every scrum but ended most by not pushing straight, so penalised cannot believe how poor that was. Missing a few stars but I think they are nowhere near their best especially under those coaches.
Got to say that Wasps did well conceding that much weight and scrambling ball on a retreating scrum.

Bell is a full back by trade. He can cover 10 however. He has been kept out the side by Tait and Veaniu.

Quite. My point was based around the fact that with the arrival of Veainu and Tait's u-turn he's been deployed far more this year as our cover 10.

Thanks Raging for your in depth club analysis this has proved very useful though I'm glad to say since your post Thompstone Smith & Veianu have confirmed contract extensions, where I differ though is the rumour about Bell going to London Irish my contacts say he is very happy to stay at Leicester and he is also negotiating a contract extension.

Is there actually any substance to the SBW rumours?
