Healey not too impressed with the decision re OTY!!

Having said that, I'm not too sure about his credentials for judging hookers considering some of the comments!!

Pedant alert.....in a 33 man squad how can Healey be 99% happy if he disagrees with only one of the selections ?

In all his coaching career Jones has seen the set piece as just a way of restarting the game. His game plans would suit OTY more than plodder Hartley. With Jones past history game plans, this decision is mind boggling. Perhaps is on a learning curve.

Not only is Youngs playing the best Rugby of his career this season, he is by far and away the in form hooker not
only in the Aviva premiership but throughout the British Isles. He also names people who are not in form and some who are still in fact injured or didn't he watch any of the Aviva matches except Tigers v Saints last Saturday? He hasn't named Exeter's pairing of Parling and Waldrom who are also playing out of their skins this season. The French have a word for this selection and it's INCROYABLE.
Since he's had a good clear out, its hardly indicative of 'the same old trash' and as for leaving tom Youngs out, its hardly a crime.

There's far too many precious people here. England's (so called) loss is the club's gain then isn't it?
Still fishing?
No. Just exposing faux indignance from the mouth frothing CA as usual. As many have already said, Tom's omission should not come as a surprise to anyone who understands how Eddie Jones works.

Care to explain CA to those of us lacking your acumen?
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95

His selections are pathetic and he didn't have the guts to stand up against the stuffed shirts who run the RFU regarding Steffan Armitage and Nick Abendanon. No wonder Armitage is thinking of becoming a French citizen as that's the only way he'll get to play international Rugby apart from the Barbarians. To say I'm fuming is an understatement.
Have a day off Noddy.

CA.... the Crumbie Automata, the happy clappers.... you know, the sort that poo their knickers when Tom Youngs isn't selected for England by the new Head Coach and call for a campaign to oust him.

Note: CA normal habitat is the Crumbie, but regular match attendance not required to qualify.

Yet at the same time fully stand behind the club's habit of recruiting from abroad rather than developing from within because 'we already lose too many players to England duty'...

This is running smoothly!
I don't think anyone really has too much of a problem with Jamie George being selected, or even LCD being included with the future possibly in mind, but to select a player and rumour him as Captain who since his latest ban has been injured and then demoted to second choice at his club is an odd one.
It certainly helps also if the RFU Chairman is your Dad, Danny Cipriani must be wondering what on earth he must do to be an England player.
It's not what you know it's who you know, surrounded by a few minders.
By the time they scrap it out for a spot in a 23 it will be a right mess, again.
Should we be surprised that some wise men go abroad for quality rather than trudge through the bog that is youth representitive rugby?
No we should not, because it's just as crazy with bias and strange selections down there!
