My maths suggests that a Sarries win v Ulster then a Tigers win with a bonus point qualifies us as we would be second best runner up at worst.
Have I a negative mindset or merely taking it a step at a time?

Wouldn't need the bonus point. The winner of Ospreys group can only get maximum 21 points (Ospreys), we have 18, so 4 points would be enough. For a home quarter that is.Christophelp wrote:Great second half display by Ospreys to beat Clermont AND deny them a LBP.
Leaves Clermont in a little bit of trouble and also means that if Munster do us a favour, a BP win would secure us a home QF by the end of tomorrow!!

Re: ECC
In terms of a top 2 seeding and potential home knockout games clearly the threats are Saracens and Racing.

Or a draw. Don't think that Tigers will be playing for that thoughdunks43 wrote:with it now looking like a munster win, a tigers win tonight puts us through as group winners

Re: ECC
I think we are now guaranted a home quarter final game even if we get no points from our last game . The worst we can do is finish fourth and then probably get to play Ospreys of Clemont at home.
We beat Stade next week and finish second then it could be one of many teams at the moment.

Re: ECC
Table ATM I think
1) Saracens 24
2) Tigers 23
3) Racing 22
4) Osprey 16
5) Toulon 16
6) Wasps 15
7) Stade 14
8) Clermont 14
9) Ulster 13
10) Saints 10 (Game in hand)
11) Exeter 11
12) Munster 10
13) Glasgow 9 (Game in hand)
So unless Saints get a TBP win pretty much
That will be the final 8 going into next week.
