Arise McCaffrey.

Post by RagingBull »

What a game What a signing.

That catch at the end won us the game!

Just what a signing.

Gibson had a decent game but wouldn't swap him for McCaffrey any day of the week.

+1

I was one of those who was underwhelmed at the announcement but thought we needed some good squad players so wasn't too worried. Absolute star now and I'm more than happy to eat humble pie.

He's one of several that showed just the right attitude today.

That's right! Put another jinx on the season. BOC gets cream crackered and Locky gets called up for England! Be quiet man! :smt005 :smt002

Cracking player, not flashy, works hard and gives his all. Delighted we did our homework on him and signed him up.

Don't think Tigers get the best out of him yet, need to have a player in close support as he always breaks the gain line and when stopped looks to off load.

We've been singing his praises for some time up in the Goldsmiths. I'd forgotten he was EQP.

I equally have to admit I wasn't sold on McCafferey as a signing.... However, I'm definitely honest enough to hold my hands up and say he has been an absolutely inspired acquisition. Solid technique (to be fair the Aussies are generally very technical sound), great engine, always a terrific workrate, fearless physicality in defence, hugely willing and skillful in attack.
A proper Tiger.

Got a fantastic ovation as he left the field and returned the applause in kind. Milked the crowd, so to speak.

Nice to see.
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.
