By the way, did you hear about the mad bloke in Paris who jumped into the river?

He was in Seine!

Your sojourn in Issy-les-MoUlineAux certainly wasn't to improve your French then, Noddy. Did you instead perhaps meet Zizi JEaNmaire? If you did I do hope you didn't ask about her 'zizi'!

That looks like a great piece of info but it is so enigmatic that it is casting pearls before this swine. Please do enlighten us/me.

Just so! :smt003

Bit worried that Bill has posted an alternative address though! What does he know / do that he's otherwise keeping quiet about?

Thought for a minute you were having a laugh. The Elysee Palace is at 55.

35 is the British Embassy. Much more sensible :smt001

Apologies for derailing the thread with advice :smt003

I normally use the Ibis here 5 Rue Caulaincourt, 75018 Paris, France

Paris hotels rooms are normally overpriced rubbish. I figure I may as well just get el cheapo. At least you know what you're getting.

It may be a little way from the stadium but I went to Paris for the weekend at the beginning of December for the Wife's 60th and we stayed in the Montparnasse area which was about 3 miles south of Notre Dame and we could see the Eiffel Tower from our friends room. Very close to the Metro and we found 3 really good restaurants very close to the hotel.
First time I've been to Paris and We loved it!
