Your sojourn in Issy-les-MoUlineAux certainly wasn't to improve your French then, Noddy. Did you instead perhaps meet Zizi JEaNmaire? If you did I do hope you didn't ask about her 'zizi'!Noddy555 wrote:For L Smith no I had a small apartment in the suburb of Issy Les Molineux which was literally just about big enough to swing a cat in, but it was close to a metro station which meant work was only a 12 minute ride away, and before you ask no I never came across anybody called ZiZi Jaumaire.

Bit worried that Bill has posted an alternative address though! What does he know / do that he's otherwise keeping quiet about?

Apologies for derailing the thread with advice
I normally use the Ibis here 5 Rue Caulaincourt, 75018 Paris, France
Paris hotels rooms are normally overpriced rubbish. I figure I may as well just get el cheapo. At least you know what you're getting.

Re: Advice on Paris
It may be a little way from the stadium but I went to Paris for the weekend at the beginning of December for the Wife's 60th and we stayed in the Montparnasse area which was about 3 miles south of Notre Dame and we could see the Eiffel Tower from our friends room. Very close to the Metro and we found 3 really good restaurants very close to the hotel.
First time I've been to Paris and We loved it!
