Awful news for Morris. He's had dreadful luck with injuries. The more options we have in the back three the more he becomes the forgotten man, which is a shame as he is a damn good player.

on the positive front, good news that Fitzgerald, O'Connor, Betham and Matt Smith are available.
Backline to be
15 Tait
14 Veainu
13 Betham
12 Smith
11 Goneva
10 Burns
9 Youngs
Pack (my guess)
1 Ayerza
2 Youngs
3 Cole
4 Fitzgerald
5 Kitchener
6 Croft
7 O'Connor
8 McCaffrey

Bench
Logo, Thacker, Balmain
Pearce, Barrow
Harrison, Williams, Thompstone

Any takers?

I doubt Croft will be back. He was all over the shop when he was helped off. Looked remarkably concussed to me.

Was really hoping to see JDV this weekend, but I've kind of given up expecting Manu to play, it will just be a nice surprise when he finally does.

Hoping for one or the other to play against Treviso would be a better game to bring one in than Saints game.

Esp if smithy and Betham are fit.

Me too, tho' I thought both might make the bench as a taster for the ECC games?

Radio 5 gave the news Slater will be out for two months? Is this really the result of a bang or does the plaggy carpet and crumb take part of the blame? :smt017

Thanks. It's about 100 years since I heard plastic so described. Is that Wigston or Leicester? :smt017
I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

Personally I would put McCaffrey at 6 and Pearce in at 8. He has been playing pretty well as has McCaffrey. For me Croft hasn't done much this season, although his lineout work is good.

You'll hear criggy & plaggy in Desford - I suspect it's at least a Leicester-wide thing.

I said plaggy as a kid, and I grew up in the lovely Beaumont Leys!!

As for the injuries, I'm gutted that Slater is out again, thought we would see him break into England as well this time.

Do we know why JDV is not ready yet? I thought he was supposed to be ready to play in December, is this still his broken jaw or something else?
