Some noise to that effect - expecting official announcement Sunday.
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

It's a fair call. I feel sorry for Wig but he's had a good run and I can understand that Jones wants his own men.
Gustard, Borthwick and a scrum coach to be appointed, plus another backs coach (in addition to Jones himself).

What are people's thoughts on whether we would want Rowntree on the coaching staff at WR? A year ago he was held in very high regard but suffered from a poor world cup showing in the scrum. I think coaching staff form part of the salary cap so might be that we can't bring him back anyway.
My view is that he hasn't become a bad coach in a year so would like to see 2/3 of the ABC club in our coaching set up. Perhaps we could get Darren Garforth back and complete the set!

That would be obstruction and result in a penaltyJimmy Skitz wrote: wouldn't he and Cockers get in each others way?

Not surprised in the least, as he will want his own men in there, I hope Rowntree manages to secure a position quickly perhaps we have something to offer him at the Tigers?

Suggestion made that Wig may go to Bristol.

Finally confirmed by RFU:

Now we can all move on thankfully..so glad to have an England coaching team without Farrell in it

Did mike catt have any other major coaching experience because are attack play was none existent the World Cup. I too would of liked to see Mauger if he wasn't here.

Catt's coaching career began in 2008, where he replaced Brian Smith as attack coach at London Irish, though he acted as a player-coach for the 2008-10 season. When he fully retired at the end of the 2009-10 season, he remained with the London Irish set-up until Smith returned to the club in 2012. On that same day, Catt joined the England national set-up as backs/attack coach for their 2012 tour to South Africaamazing tiger wrote:Did mike catt have any other major coaching experience because are attack play was none existent the World Cup.
