Because they have Devoto and Ewels in the first team that qualify under this criteria..We only really have Thacker that has any top level experience..

se also that henry Purdy is credited to Gloucester Academy. But the assessment could explain why changes were made to our young player development system, judge the effects in three or four years.

And is basing it on producing talents and not just keeping them.

I agree - it seems 'hit and miss'.
Fraser isn't mentioned, neither is Lewington.
However, it is no surprise in general to say that Tigers have not been bringing through as many academy graduates as perhaps they have in the past.This has been recognised by the Board, and hence the recent shake-up of the Academy management and coaching. Hopefully, this will bear fruit.

Its no good having a good academy if you can' hang onto your players. for years Falcons were a production line for Tigers, LI have produced some fine academy players, they're mostly at Bath now.

For me the real success story is Exeter Chiefs, they've done a Saracens without having the financial clout of the London big gun.
