Re: Worcester v Tigers
Will be interesting to see what kind of team we put out, personally I think we'd be stupid to put a vastly weakened side out with how Worcester are playing but I suspect we may see a couple of players rested with the Munster double header in mind

Anyone know if you can watch this match online anywhere?
Re: Worcester v Tigers
I joined Bet365, paid £25, open account, never used, and can watch it ''live streaming'' on my TV through their website...
Not great as it keeps going off, but better than nothing

Cockers saying he might be picking a risky team.
Re: Worcester v Tigers
I've a lot of respect for Wayne Barnes he has improved as a referee beyond measure over the past two years particularly in his communication with players and players now know what to expect from him, which was not always the case before. I'm looking forward to Saturdays match at Sixways and would like a 5 point win.

Would be a novelty to have the same set of backs playing together, give a chance to build up a better understanding.

Little chance - Tait injured will mean changes; and better news with Owen Williams and Goneva fit. Even a chance of Burns in the squad too.
No JDV yet Gramps - he is still recovering from his broken jaw, and needs to be signed off by the specialist. Anticipated to make debut at either Munster at home or Newcastle, according to the Merc.

Over the past 10 seasons or so I have been to Wuss 3 times, it being a 2 hour+ drive and a £41 ticket. We have never won and I've had to endure that annoying chant: Waaaaaaariors, Waaaaariors,
Let's not have a risky team so I can see Tigers win!!!

Re: Worcester v Tigers
Big echo on this thread. Been a few times, two wins, always a very dull game alas. Hoping for better as we need the points to open a gap, as the fixtures this weekend mean that two of our rivals would thrown into the bottom half of the table.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Looks like it might be a bit windy on Saturday - good weather for FB's - hehehehe
Hehehehehehehehe
Re: Worcester v Tigers
Honestly, with Harrison at 9 and Williams at 10 I think we'll kick ass whatever the rest of the team is.

Re: Worcester v Tigers
My early observations regarding this weeks fixture......
Positive- 3.00 Ko. Very rare these days. I will be at the match and I will relish this almost extinct, quirky tradition of holding sports functions on a Saturday afternoon.
Negative- poor train service. Outbound service is good. Leicester/narborough to new street then change for Worcester. Home bound, the last train from Worcester is 20.52? But to the other Brum station, then walk to new street for the Leicester train. It's always a worry for me getting the last train. No margine for error. Also I will get lost on the walk between Brum stations and you only get 20 ish minutes. Have other rail users come to the same conclusion or am I missing something? Maybe an alternative route?
Oh and also, the rugby should be good. Maybe we can stem the dillusions of grandure emminating from six ways.

The sooner we get done, the more we can do !
