Very disappointed to read that Ben's considering a move to Bath in today's Sunday Times.

It would be a shame, similar to Manu, if he wants to go, see ya. I am sure AM will source a more than adequate replacement that is desperate to play for us. Interesting times I am so confident in the environment AM is creating I think Ben will want to stay and if not I am genuinely think it's his loss....

I know they think the celery cap is bust, but surely he would get a better deal/life style living and playing France?

It is common knowledge here in North Norfolk--------as I have posted here before, many times, as my children went to Greshams-------------that OTY will stay but YBY wants to explore and try new places.
He is unlikely to be loyal to Leicester unless he is offered something out of the ordinary.
Straight from Masters at his old school who I know well

As for playing in France, he would have to learn the language, and that would be beyond him...

I'd prefer Ben to stay, but he has his own career to think about and I'm sure he will do what he thinks is best for himself. Tigers will , I am sure have the matter in hand either way, it is now a business not a game anymore.

Is not business a game? With high stakes?

We need Ben to stay imo..Harrison offers quick service but when Ben is on the defence has to watch him so much more intently that it creates gaps elsewhere..

Hopefully he will have an enjoyable year under Mauger and want to stay :smt023

A local has suggested that just maybe Tigers would rather have players not in England's squad--because they always come back injured------ so maybe that is why Manu and YBY are considering elsewhere ??

Doubt tigers would then put a big contract on the table for at least Manu then.

Manu will prob stay IMO at the least, prob will re-sign soonish IMO.

There is no basis for this opinion, simply speculation on my part ...

Manu and Ben will both be off, no person is as big as the team, they add to it, but are not the be all and end all. Kitto being brought in by Mauger is a tell tale sign things are afoot in my opinion.

Will be interesting to see how this pans out

Wasn't Cockers also tooting O'Connor as EQ on BT sport the other night after Stade Match.
