Only yesterday he was tweeting from Dubai and sending a sick child his best wishes. Awful news.

Very sad news indeed, an icon of the game and some who defines that mid 90's onwards period of rugby.

Thinking of his family at this sad time.

One of the greatest ever. Some of you were perhaps too young in 1995 but I was fortunate to see him live.
He was simply a phenomenon, gigantic for a winger and immensely powerful. His demolition of England is famous and v France he had 8 players trying to stop him, they failed!!

One of my earliest rugby memories was of Lomu being unleashed on England. With that, he left an enduring mark on the game - few others have left such a legacy.

Just a great All Black legend a great ambassador to the game who was here to see NZ retain the RWC and returning to NZ. There are many players who were flattened by Jonah apart from the Underwoods.
A very sad day in the World of Rugby. RIP and thanks for all those memories.

Just imagine how good he could have been if he hadn't been dealt a cruel hand with his health. He was already a great of the game.

Sleep well big man.
