Indeed. Profound sympathy to our French visitors and their compatriots. Dreadful news.

Our thoughts with the people of France, Paris and our Stade Francais brothers.

A terrible night that makes our game irrelevant.

Thoughts are with all the families and friends who have lost loved ones or been injured in these sickening attacks.

I managed to get in touch with all 5 of my friends who live in the Paris region and they and their friends and relatives are ok and weren't in that part of Paris but my friend Madeleine who works for the Paris Tourism bureau said she had news that a work colleague was slightly injured at the concert venue.

A dreadful séries of incidents to which the French are having to become accustomed. It is an awful indictment of our world today that this organised but mindless violence is an acceptable way for extreme organisations to gain publicity for their objectives.

We are many kilometres from Paris here in the Midi Pyrenees, but the reverberations are felt here, with flowers and messages left at the war memorial in the village.

My thoughts are with all those affected by terrorism.

Not sure who you'd have to speak to but I was wondering if it was possible to have some Tigers/Stade half and half scarves made for fans going to the return game in Paris to wear as a gesture of solidarity with the Parisiens.

Splendid idea about the scarves. They may be on sale in Paris anyhow. At Toulon I remember seeing French outlets selling half and half Tigers Toulon scarves. My wife and I will wear pink ribbons in any case.

I now urge as many Tiger Fans as possible to book tickets for the return match with Stade Francais at the end of January when we can all go down to the Bataclan club and the cafes in Paris to pay our own personal respect to the victims of the massacre that took place on Friday the 13th of November. I have many English friends of the Muslim faith who are heartedly sickened by the events of last Friday night. To say that those responsible for it acted like animals would be a gross insult to the animal kingdom. These vermin are lower than insects and if
anything is mentioned about genocides, this is one group of beings that deserve to be wiped from the face of the earth.
