Re: 2015/16 Squad/Contracts/Rumours Thread Part 2
I think Goneva is OOC (out of contract) at the end of this season. My guess is he'll look for one last decent contract in either France or Japan.
Re: 2015/16 Squad/Contracts/Rumours Thread Part 2
I suspect that Goneva will be off. He'll be on a hell of a lot of money after his last re-signing which I suspect we won't match. Probably to France for a last big contract at a guess.
So then.
9. Ben Youngs
10. Burns/Williams
11. Pietersen
12. Toomua
13. Tuilagi
14. Betham
15. Veainu
You hate rugby if that doesn't excite you.

Loamanu clearly isn't rated in terms of ability or attitude. Perhaps even both. He'll be gone and barely anyone will notice.murphy15 wrote:Bai will probably retire...Loamanu? My guess is he'll be off

He hasn't made the grade thus far but he has been unlucky with injuries / fitness to be fair to him

So, here goes.....
I've never been much of a nay sayer however, upon the announcement of Gibson leaving I posted suggesting that this was the one that 'just didn't feel right to me' and really did leave me questioning the transfer policy.
I will now gladly eat humble pie with humble veg and a large dollop of humble mash.
The acquisitions of Veianu, McCaffrey, Betham, Williams, Fitzgerald and O'Connor prove that the people in the know are, well....in the know.
The addition of Toomua sealed the easing of any remnants of doubt I was left with and with JPP now coming I think I may have just have to run around the office in a 'Home Alone' style.
Thank you Leicester Tigers.

Wow? Not heard of him. Is he a SH player? I don't watch any Super X (where X is a number between 1 and 30) rugby or the Rugby ChampionshipRagingBull wrote:Have a backline like this for next season so far

Journeyman.
How many clubs has he played for?
Why aren't we promoting the youth

First posting so be gentle.
As exciting as it is to see JPP, really pleased Matt Smith is finally getting the recognition he deserves. New contract for a Leicester lad through and through. Hope he gets a testimonial at the club and that he fills the ground when/ if he does

Hi Mrs G, and welcome!
Smithy is already in the middle of his testimonial year along with Tom Croft I believe.
Did you miss 'Ladies' night?
Hope that's gentle enough for you!

Don't forget Paolo Odguwu (sp.)
Would imagine he'll get promoted to the first team next season.

More importantly with an un-disrupted season, there will be more varied opportunities for fringe players to play with the return of the LV Cup.TTRITH wrote:Don't forget Paolo Odguwu (sp.)
