And earlier in the season than ever? A significant number of post Southern Hemisphere season and RWC signings coming north?

The shift in financial power away from Ireland has happened...there was a time they could sign the likes of Rocky Elsom and the like and now all the big signings are for the AP or TOP 14..

Bristol & Worcester seem to like the Bath & Sarries mould of trying to buy success..

Really liking how even with our signings this year we are finding diamonds in the rough..McCaffery, Ftizgerald, O'Connor, Williams, Betham and Veainu were hardly stars and now they are lighting up Europe :smt023

JFJ, we have a team, much like those johnnies down the road! Let's hope Leicester has two champions come the end of the respective seasons.

Dan Bowden has some exciting news to share soon apparently. An LI player has liked the tweet so that could be his destination.

Dan Bowden is better than championship rugby.

I'd love to see Dan Bowden back at Tigers, left a massive hole when he left. Though I have a little voice in me that wonders if this would be a backward step. But he would be a great cover for Matt Toomua as a 12/10 cover.

I cannot believe why he has signed to go and play in the Tigers graveyard. :smt017 Perhaps the cash may have something to do with it :smt023

My cousin who used to play with Sam Harrison and others in the academy, had a certain second row captain round his house for Christmas drinks last week. He mentioned that we are close to signing JP Pietersen for next season...
Anyone else heard this?

Have not heard it but would certainly make sense were Tigers to sign a top class back 3 player. With Goneva, Thompstone and Camacho out of contract would probably expect Goneva and Camacho to depart (Goneva for a final payday in France/ Japan while Camacho has just been dreadfully unlucky) with Thommo re-signing and a quality recruit coming in and Odogwu moving up in the pecking order!

Pietersen would be quality signing and is only 29, so at least 2-3 years left at the top level!

A backiline of:

9. Youngs
10. Williams
11. Pietersen
12. Toomua
13. Tuilagi
14. Veainu
15. Tait

with Morris, Smith, Thompstone, Burns, Harrison etc. waiting in the wings wouldn't be too bad at all!!

Shouldn't it be the Xmas pud and anyway it's too late now?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.
