Do we rest some players with eyes on Stade @ home next friday or go all out?

IF (AND A BIG IF) Cockers is right about players coming back i wouldn't mind seeing:

1) Mulipola / Balmain (Injuries depending)
2) Bateman/Thacker
3) Cole
4) Barrow
5) Kitchener (Slater/Fitz depending who is out)
6) Williams
7) McCaffrey
8) Pearce
9) Youngs / Harrison (If Youngs still injured)
10) Williams
11) Goneva
12) Smith/Bai
13) Betham
14) Veainu
15) Tait

16) Youngs
17) Brugnara/Balmain
18) Balmain/Tiz
19) Slater (Fitz/Seb depending on injuries)
20) Crane
21) Kitto
22) Bai/Bell
23) Thompstone

It's a really tricky call because you don't want to overdo the squad rotation and crash the winning the run. At the same time you need to give some of the fit again players a run out.

If Logo is genuinely fit I would have him starting. Bateman would be an interesting call because he would love to rub their noses in it. Does Cole need resting?

You'd expect Slater and Kitch to feature in the 23 but maybe from the bench.

The Fonua injury helps in 8 position. I'd expect Crane to start with Pearce on the bench.

Ben Youngs to start and give Harrison a rest.

Agree with Goneva, Bai, Betham, Veainu. Bell in for Tait?

If Logo is fit he plays in my opinion. I rate Balmain highly but he isn't a loosehead. I think last weekend showed that.

Believe that Ben Youngs is a number of weeks from a return to fitness.

Looked injured in the Wales match, probably should not have played against Aus, now Tigers suffer the consequences.

Cockers in the Merc in th Opeti Fonua injury article (no I can't paste link as my browser doesn't show it):

"We will pick our hungriest team and best side to go to Exeter"

I think I'd want Croft in the side. Whether that means Williams staying in the second row or McCaffrey moving to 8 with Pearce or Crane on the bench is another debate.

Not according to Cockers:
Ed Slater (knee), Ben Youngs (ankle), Graham Kitchener (ribs) and Tommy Bell (leg) could all be available for selection, after being out of the game for varying amounts of time.

How many of those men come back into a squad which dealt so well with the threats Wasps had to offer last weekend is open to debate.

But their return only adds to the options for coaching duo Richard Cockerill and Aaron Mauger, as they face an Exeter side tipped by many as top-four candidates.

"They are all likely to be available," said Cockerill.
That was from the injuries thread.

I never understand the issue with referees. Whoever it is people seem to complain. Occasionally someone does us a big favour and is flavour of the month for 5 minutes. But aside from that...

Let's ask this... how many refs are there on the rota and how many are of an acceptable standard.
