Lines of running, support and offloading are areas where RL are naturally superior.

Burgess is strong in all these areas.

Not natural, coached. RFU courses a decade or so ago didn't teach enough of that, if any, to nascent coaches. Blazer coaches didn't like improper line-ups or out-of-the-box thinking (except Brian Ashton maybe). I suspect it's a left-over from the days when everything was solved by sticking up a FatBoy's shirt or the 10 booting it into touch - the LadyBoys used to have clean hands (I used the time to do my hair and nails). :smt004

I think Freddy Tuilagi would be very hurt to hear of your feelings towards his conversion... :smt002

Freddie was a union player (played in 1995 World Cup) who went to league and then came back, so not really the same.

He obviously has the courage of his own conviction, hope he has been booked on a slow boat, dastardly deed of those Wallabies to send him over here in first place, were they just getting their own back on us? :smt005

Heads should roll, including the whole coaching team and all those involved in the RFU. A laughing stock and the careers of at least a couple of young players blighted by this joke. :smt013 :smt013

Keeping LancAster will be a continuation of the decline of England as an international force.
1 who appointed Lancaster?
2 who allowed two unproven pretend coaches to coach England?
3 who delivered Burgess here?
4 who allowed him to be fast-tracked into the England team?
5 who selected the disaster teams of the Wales and Australia games?

Any names in that list should be sacked along with Lancaster.

Now come on JG. They all did theit best! Unfortunately and predictably it was not good enough!

Question: Why have none of them resigned?

Answer: They do not have the guts and are only in it for the £££.
Still keeping the faith!

On the news this morning that his mates at Bath say he's definitely on his way back to RL.

No doubt the RFU will put a gloss on it all :smt009
