Re: Next England Coach? Fresh start?
DRC, I think on this occasion Saj is referring to the South Africa journo
Re: Next England Coach? Fresh start?
I am referring to Nick Mallett. Nobody walks into a public forum and says they have been confidentially offered somebody else's (high profile) job. In this case whilst the incumbent is still employed in that job and preparing for a WC match on Saturday.drc_007 wrote:serious professional and the RFU?
But if you provide the direct quotes from Mallett saying he was contacted i will stand corrected.
Re: Next England Coach? Fresh start?
I guess I'm not sure why he would bother to mention it if he was not contacted? We will just have to wait for confirmation.
Unfortunately the RFU do seem to have a loose cannon or two, who perhaps have their own agendas.

Sorry, I missed the announcement of your appointment of moderator on this forum. The relevant material has been supplied - you can contact the journo yourself rather than requesting DRC to do the job.Sajerj wrote:I am referring to Nick Mallett. Re: Next England Coach? Fresh start?
It gets worse. The England staff were taken to a field in Bath where they were made to lead horses round obstacles to showcase their leadership abilities, they were even recorded doing it and there performances were analysed!
Re: Next England Coach? Fresh start?
Maybe it was the horse that called Nick Mallet?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.
Re: Next England Coach? Fresh start?
Mallet has clarified that he did not say he was contacted by the RFU.

One of Trojan origin perhaps, G.K.
Re: Next England Coach? Fresh start?
SCW for a second stab - with Martin Johnson in the coaching lineup!
