I am referring to Nick Mallett. Nobody walks into a public forum and says they have been confidentially offered somebody else's (high profile) job. In this case whilst the incumbent is still employed in that job and preparing for a WC match on Saturday.

But if you provide the direct quotes from Mallett saying he was contacted i will stand corrected.

I guess I'm not sure why he would bother to mention it if he was not contacted? We will just have to wait for confirmation.

Unfortunately the RFU do seem to have a loose cannon or two, who perhaps have their own agendas.

It gets worse. The England staff were taken to a field in Bath where they were made to lead horses round obstacles to showcase their leadership abilities, they were even recorded doing it and there performances were analysed!

I've heard of Lions led by Donkeys but Horses led by Donkeys is an new one.
