Sad news for Logo, now another quality player to add to the injury list. I sincerely hope it is not going to be yet another annus horriblus for injuries, we badly need better luck!

He had a knee op over the summer which is taking a few weeks longer than hoped to settle. Should be good for the start of the season (Samoa will most likely be out by then anyway), he hasn't had any game time which also a concern for the Samoan management since the operation.

Possibly as much to do with the Polynesian tendency to heal slower?

I take issue with Chipnchase on his remark (Samoa will probably out of the world cup by then) I think Samoa will surprised quite a few people and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them in the semi finals even without Logo.

I'm not sure it would particularly be a surprise to be honest. On their day, Samoa are at least the equal to Scotland. The winner of Scotland v Samoa will make the quarter final.

I was at their game against the Barbarians and they do play some lovely rugby. Their defence, unfortunately, is frequently shambolic.
