Mrs Camacho

Post by PAW »

Any chance we could replace that Eminem remix prior to kick off with Mrs C singing for us?
Voice of an angel, very classy and not difficult on the eye (the latter comment made with full respect)

ANYTHING would be better than that stupid Big Boot Pantomime but the lady certainly can warble. She gets my vote.

It's interesting that an Argentine knows how to correctly sing God Save The Queen whilst all the stupid warbling bints at Twickenham don't.

It doesn't go up on the last note! :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

The odd split infinitive never hurt anyone, Bill. However, "would of" and "loose" (vs lose) should be punishable by stoning or Mau Mau...

Actually the mistaken use of "of" for "have" and "loose" for "lose" whilst perhaps crimnal rarely changes the obvious meaning. The split infinitive, however, conveys a subtle and different meaning shift.

Cassandra did not mean that those who sang B D G(upper) as opposed to B A G(lower) were out of tune (i.e. incorrectly singing) but that they were not following the score (i.e. singing incorrectly).

Mrs C vs Laura Wright and the National Anthem? I'm still not sure who decided that the words could be changed from God Save The Queen (Mrs C) to God Save Our Queen (Laura Wright with a wrong high note at the end). I was taught the former at school and will never sing the latter. It sounds wrong to me.
