Samoa have not selected sinoti and have gone for alesana instead. Although alesana is a good player he really didn't do much for newcastle last season but sinoti was on fire for newcastle. Can't see why they have not selected him.

Some of my favourite Tigers' moments have involved Alex so any criticism is extremely difficult, however, he did not look fit or hungry last year.

Sinoti was very quiet in that and Alex was a beast in it.

That was a complete surprise to me given the form he has been in this season.

Alesana was captain in the PNC and will be vice-captain for the RWC. He was never going to be left out.
