I quite like humbugs!

And await the latest excuses for lack of progress:

1. Failure to agree wallpaper for SC office;

2. Failure to agree depth of carpet for SC office;

3. Inability to get contractors staff to work over Christian/Muslem/Hindu holiday periods;

4. Inclement weather too hot/cold/wet/dry/windy;

5. Conflict with Leicester City Fixtures;

6. Worldwide shortage of grommets;

7. Other

You forgot the floods - bound to cause disruption and delay. :smt002

Maybe as part of the RFU deal for Steve Borthwick no Premiership clubs are allowed grommits until Bristol are promoted.

It had not occured to me, or the Contractors or Club either, to blame the RFU for the excessive delays in building the new stand. Is it all, in fact, down to RAndrew??

Don't be silly - RAndrew cannot be blamed for anything, anywhere, ever!

Sorry. My mistake! Teflon Rob gets everything right!

So the delays in building the new stand are Johnno's fault?

** Well at least our new west stand is in use, for those watching Northampton Saints on tonight's Aviva highlights will have noticed that the new Saints stand was empty, Oh and Gibson was yellow carded!

It comes as absolutely no surprise whatsoever that Saints' new stand was empty.......they were playing away against the Not Nots at the Madejski stadium, Reading.

Misplaced Schadenfreude

Appearances can be deceptive. While there were just under 10k at the Madejski there were 24k at the Ricoh. Might explain why we are getting "only" 21k-22k since the World Cup.

Probably more to do this the reduced capacity whilst the club house temporary stand and part of the H&B and terrace were missing. We've were always going to loose some to the insects but I suspect not that many.

Absolutely Noggs. Only turncoats and renegades would defect to Insects, whereas quite sensible people might choose to not sit in an unroofed stand!
