A good news day today, but still the boring gripes go on and on and on. Give it a rest.

More progress on the external roadside façade and it looks as if the steelwork for the roof is about complete. We could have some dry seats for the Munster game (pointy end)

Is that part of his contract? That must put him ahead of Fonua and Pearce in the pecking order.

Drove by today... Crumbie end new wall with gaps for entrance being built to allow access, window frames on ground level installed for glass, other end of the stand , the 2 storage containers that had the turnstiles in them have been removed, and a steel struture was being built with brickwork around them, Aircon units have been installed onto the roof

So completion for the play-offs may indeed be possible!

PS It does often snow and freeze in winter. Would such "unforseen circumstances" delay things?

Sunday morning and working on safety netting. Can they get the whole roof done in a week?

For those who do not get to the ground, other than on match days, when I walked along Aylestone Road the other day, the green fascia of the stand part was almost complete, as was the silver(?) framing of the long window. The view of the other side of Aylestone Road on the Cam, is THROUGH that window.

Weather permitting they should get a lot of the stand roof finished next week so at least some of our Munster friends should be siting in the dry. I also suspect they will press on with the wall cladding at the southern end of the building to try to complete the main encasement.

Not sure how the ground floor facilities are progressing but it's just possible that some of these will be in use.

Serious question - is it better to buy tickets in this stand or at the A&L at the other end? I know the prices are the same but I'm thinking here about the state of play of the Stand development and also the Facilities (Bars, Toilets), the View etc?
