Either that or a backing structure! Lots of activity.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

To me it looks liek the screen is in now. I'm sure you could see the backing supports this morning.

That or my eyes are getting worse by the hour.

Indeed it might be in place but that does not automatically mean its "working". :smt023

Agreed, the screen is in place now. Any idea what the crane is doing, other than knocking the posts down?

The crane by the posts is a mobile tower crane which has been lifting long sections, possibly flashing sections for capping off the parapet on the road façade, over the stand due to restricted access on the road side. It's s cleaver piece of kit with a control cabin which can move up and down the vertical column of the crane allowing the operator to see what he's doing.

I also believe the screen panels for the 'big telly' have been fitted although as already stated it is not intended to be operational this weekend.

The window of the control room (to the right of the telly) have yet to be fitted along with the associated panels to complete the ground side façade. Other than that, the other main external items remaining seem to be the sheeting in of the end of the stand seating and the removal of the safety rails around the canopy and the fitting of the canopy facia.

All in all the stand is looking very smart and much better than that of our friends down the road :smt019

Are there any floodlights to go on roof?

No.

What they have already is fine and you don't want the kicker to be looking into lights positioned behind the posts.

However, I noticed that the spill from the internal lighting for the crowd has a very positive effect!

Had a look today. The 'long sections' are a kind of second skin for the roof, being laid on top of the sloping part of the existing canopy. If I had to hazard a guess, they looked a bit like drainage channels/gutters, to prevent the rainwater just sliding off.

The question remains will it be working and in use during the match on Saturday?
