Post your prediction for the outcome of the World Cup, group by group.
Save your moaning about games being at the Walkers or the irrational hatred of the England team for another thread. Some of us are looking forward to the World Cup!

I'll start:

Pool A:
1. England
2. Wales

Pool B:
1. South Africa
2. Scotland

Pool C:
1. New Zealand
2. Argentina

Pool D:
1. Ireland
2. France

Quarter Finals:
South Africa v Wales
New Zealand v France
Ireland v Argentina
England v Scotland

Semi Finals:
Wales v New Zealand
England v Ireland

Final:
New Zealand v England

I agree with all of this bar I would have Australia in over Wales and potentially Ireland beating England...(although I hope not)

England's pool is the only one that isn't really straight forward on paper, Pool C New Zealand and Argentina are nailed on as are France and Ireland in Pool D. Pool B I would expect South Africa and Scotland although Samoa are capable of spoiling that. In Pool A I expect England to take top spot and Australia to edge in ahead of Wales.

Knock out stages I expect England, South Africa, New Zealand and Ireland to come through the 1/4 finals. Then England and South Africa to qualify for the final, no cue who would win that though.

If anyone fancies joining a full World Cup prediction league (via Superbru), I'd be happy to setup and manage.

Predicting scores for every match and a league based on the results. I've played them many times and will be running one for work.

No expense necessary, its free to play, just need an account. Maybe persuade the Club to put a prize up?
