Barf v Tigers - Payback Time?

Post by G.K »

OK so against the expectations of many, myself included, we have reached the Payoffs. I'm sure many of you recall the nilling that took place down there so the question is: is this Payback time for the drubbing Tigers got at the Rec or will it be two years running where we don't get to HQ?

Anyway I suggest that those amongst the following players, who may be privileged enough to be selected to play for Tigers this weekend, report to Mr R Cockerill's office this morning to explain how they are going make appropriate reparations on Saturday:

15 Mathew Tait
14 Niall Morris
13 Matt Smith
12 Owen Williams
11 Vereniki Goneva
10 Freddie Burns
9 Ben Youngs
1 Logovi'i Mulipola
2 Leonardo Ghiraldini
3 Fraser Balmain
4 Graham Kitchener
5 Geoff Parling
6 Tom Croft
7 Julian Salvi
8 Jordan Crane
16 Tom Youngs
17 Riccardo Brugnara
18 Tizano Pasquali
19 Sebastian De Chaves
20 Robert Barbieri
21 David Mele
22 Sam Harrison
23 Javiah Pohe
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Parling has a cracked rib - I'd be surprised if he is fit for next week.

Even a happy clapper would be naive to think we are anything but outsiders for this match. Bath are fit and firing. We are still grinding out results with strong defence, sheer guts and determination. It shouldn't be enough. But, here's the thing. It might be. I can't see this game being open. Bath would like it to be but our boys should be pumped and ready to defend for their lives. It then comes down to penalty count, the boot and the taking those few chances that come your way. I think we need to get our noses in front fairly early doors just to get Bath trying a little bit too hard, and get their frustration levels up. If Bath get a 5-10 point lead they will feel comfortable and I fear we won't have the creativity and belief to peg them back.

My only hope is that it is on the internet somewhere and that I can get it in Mexico. Don't think I will be able to get BT on my computer as I usually do - Radio Leicester is probably my best chance - any other suggestions gratefully received

There will be some streams i guess.

If you have chrome on your PC you could get the Hola VPN extension (From the chrome store) which you can use to watch Region locked services such as Iplayer, BT Sport (I think it is region locked). If you do remember to turn it off after. It's quite easy to use TBH.

I did this last year when in Italy RB and it worked perfectly for SkyGo and Iplayer but BT Sport seemed to have got it on lock down...Safe to say the GF was happy at least :smt023

Us playing away makes it more difficult, but then so was Munster in the old Heineken, we have won away at tougher grounds and our recent form says we are in with a shout. I just hope we have a ref that understands the laws of scrummaging and gives us a fair chance. We have the dog back in the side and Barf are going to know that, we might be the under dogs, but what's new this season.

COME ON YOU TIGERRRRrrrrrrsssssss

Chrome no longer supports Microsoft silverlight (after several threats now a reality I have found) so I now use Explorer...

I wasn't impressed with Loamanu on Saturday. Would like to see Roberts at 12 if he's looking fit and sharp in training.

I too doubt that Parling will be fit, cracked ribs don't heal in two weeks.

It says in the DT today that Logo and Freddie should be ok. I hope so.

Really? I thought he was immense, tackled anything that moved and generally caused a nuisance of himself. I thought he was one of the MOTM contenders along with Kitch and Cole.
