Bai's "tackle" was IMHO reckless. However the "blame" lies with Barnes who had allowed Hughes to lie all over the ball all game.
Still keeping the faith!

Bai did lead with his hand but his head did collide with the player.
Reckless rather than malicious but deserving of a ban.
Questions do have to be asked as to why the ref consistently failed to penalise the Wasps players repeatedly killing the ball, which probably was a factor in why Bai felt the need to clear out the ruck with such force. Mitigation rather than an excuse.
Tackling properly is also not being enforced - how many times was Logo chopped down by a defender going low, leading with a shoulder to "skittle" his legs from under him. Refs seem only to penalise no arms tackle above the waist.

this needs to be stamped out fast - too many players are having major knee injuries from being smashed by a diving shoulder as they plant their legsmol2 wrote:Tackling properly is also not being enforced - how many times was Logo chopped down by a defender going low, leading with a shoulder to "skittle" his legs from under him.
