Manu in contract next season anyway.
Re: 2014/15 Rumours/Contracts/Signings part 4
When and IF he he eventually returns, I doubt he will be a Tiger for long....... Money and Family loyalty to Leicester has long since gone.

Me too.JackFlashJonny wrote:The Rugby Paper reporting we have signed him on a one year deal from the srart of next season after Jake White let him go at Montpellier...
31 year old Centre little underwhelmed...
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Re: 2014/15 Rumours/Contracts/Signings part 4
Olivier didn't stand out much yesterday to be fair, but my take on it is this, by the looks of it, the specific individual or type of player we want isn't available at this time, some we have signed a 31yr old 38 times capped springboks 12 to fill the gap on a 12 month deal. We need a 12 and 15 going into next season, so we have signed a 12, and sounds like Tait is staying also. Job done. If the quality of player we want isn't available, better to get a steady pair of hands on 12 months deal rather than hand a 2-3 year deal to a lesser target as a panic.
I still believe Mauger may be bringing some players with him, maybe 1st team, maybe a couple of projects instead.
9 - Youngs, Harrison, Tresidder, ?.
10 - Burns, Williams, Bai, Bryant
12 - Allen, Olivier, Roberts
13 - Tuilagi, Loamanu, Smith, Catchpole
11/14 - Betham, Goneva, Benjamin, Thompstone, Camacho
15 - Tait, Morris, Bell

Willie joins the Sharks...surprised he stayed in SA but fair play for bucking the trend

Having just looked at RagingBull's June 2 update, we look at bit thin at scrum half...assuming Mele is off, unless there is someone not included...? Not that either of the two players listed are poor quality at all, but who will provide cover when Youngs is away with England?

Here's some cover for Mrs Youngs' little boys whilst they're away in the World Cup.

Not necessarily a Mauger inspired signing, although you'd hope he has at least signed off on it.
Look at his biggest influence.... It's only our new skills/defence coach....
Now that Olivier is in to add some depth at 12, and Tait is staying as fullback option, scrum half and lock were my only concerns in terms of depth, with Mele having left, and Deacon, Parling, Thorn, Price and Peterson gone. Scrum half now covered. Lock??? Will Jack Whetton stay, has Harry Wells rejoined??
