[quote="tigerburnie"]The insects have always been a thorn in our side, would be great to give them a beating,

It would be GREAT to see our Thorn in our side against Wasps,
rested, recharged and raring to go.
Hoping we have not seen the last of Brad but hoping he is there with the other leavers at the Northampton game. Thanks Brad!

Our away form at Adams Park over the last few years has been woeful & I have been there for most of them so I can't think that an away fixture against Wasps at a different 'away' venue will change anything, even if we do have 50% of the crowd.
Yes, Simpson is a good player but it's Daly I worry about: one of the most intelligent backs in the Prem, sees gaps, accelerates like the Roadrunner, and has a monster boot as well. It's beyond me how he hasn't been picked for England yet and it's to Wasps' continuing benefit that he hasn't been. He's still only 22 and has already played about 100 games for them.
I will travel in hope rather than expectation.

Honestly can't see Tigers winning this one. I'd love to be wrong but given the way Tigers have played recently I can't see how they can raise their game sufficiently to do so.

Anyway I typed wasps.com into my browser and it provides some information on how Tigers might be able to control the game.
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Really? don't get me wrong I hope that is right but that would mean 17k Tigers fans..

I know there are a lot of Tigers fans in Coventry so maybe so but that does sound a lot..

Lets hope you're right :smt026
Could be. Apart from the first match with all the freebies they've been getting between 14k and 17k. Tigers fans could be the difference between 14k and 32k. Here's hoping.
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game

From what i am hearing it could well be.

considering it is like a 35 min drive away I could see alot of Tiger fans making the short trip.

Somebody needs to get on to the BBC who have us playing Wasps twice this weekend at 15.15 on Saturday & 14.00 on Sunday. Yet another of their teletext blunders. I of course will be watching us on BT Vision
on Saturday.

Have you had a reply from the BBC yet?
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

I won't be making it on Saturday but, being fit and able, if I were and I wanted a decent pint in a proper pub beforehand, I'd be heading for the Greyhound at Sutton Stop. A real canalside pub, great beer and food and a 30 minute walk along the towpath to the Ricoh.

Got to be better than the stadium!
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

My son in law from Mkt Harborough RC told me today that Serge Betsen was over at Kettering RC last Sunday presenting medals to the Sevens winners and raising the Wasps profile in the area. Trespassing on Saints and Tigers fringes. :smt012
