Sarries v Clermont
English interest in Euro cup is now officially over.

Watched Tigers repeatedly run into the black wall last week. One touch of class, the chip over the advancing defence and, bang, try.
Was that plan B or plan C? Dunno. But more of a clue than we had.

To be honest Saracens never really looked like scoring a try, once Clermont got ahead the game was up.

Good riddance to Afrikanners false money and a 41000 million deficit. If they cant buy success with that sort of budget, tough titty....

Glad they lost. Yet again they get away with murder, Ashton should of been yellow carded and a penalty try given for his no arms tackle to stop a certain try.

Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”

Could not agree more; I was astonished that the TMO didn't pick it up although to be fair I thought it was preceded by a forward pass that wasn't even looked at.Bobmac wrote:Glad they lost. All in all the saffers gave a better performance than I expected but the best team won. Allez Clermont

Come on BD - you know 'one, two bump' is the only true way, any other plan for the Tigers is pure blasphemy!!!!Big Dai wrote:Watched Tigers repeatedly run into the black wall last week. One touch of class, the chip over the advancing defence and, bang, try.

This is the same bitter schadenfreude I spent many years enduring from fans of smaller clubs when Tigers were the dominant English side and yet would occasionally lose games.
Have we really fallen so far that we've become those bitter snipers from the sidelines, reveling in the failures of others because we have no success of our own to enjoy?

Re: Sarries v Clermont
Clermont is my second club, and so I was pleased with the win. I do not like Sarries because of that dreadful South African coach whose name I have obliterated from my mind, although I do like their current coaches.
There are some clubs I would be pleased to see winning, even if we are out of the relevant competition. There are others I will not support - all down to personal prejudice and preference, and nothing at all to do with schadenfreude.
