Re: Saracens v Tigers
No massive surprises from either clubs although a lot of Sarries fans thought Vunipola maybe rested. They are obviously not going to be holding anything back before the Clermont game. Fascinating encounter.

Re: Saracens v Tigers
Two strong looking teams but have to say Sarries may have the edge in the backs....Think we need to stuff them up front to have a decent chance of victory.
Surprised to see no Scully.
Should be a good game!

Vey surprised Itojie isn't starting.
Very close between the 2 starting lineups I favour our forwards subs though.

Re: Saracens v Tigers
The forwards are of similar standard, although they have a much higher ball carrying threat. Very glad to see Kitchener back on the bench.
Sarries backs are better. Real test for Burns against Hodgson.

Brits misses out for Saracens with chickenpox. He and Burger are big losses for them.

Nasty thing chickenpox for adults can be fatal in extreme cases hope he will be alright.
Re: Saracens v Tigers
Terrific match ups all over the park, this could be a very good game.
Pleased to see strettle on the bench. A little worried that Morris hasnt had much game time all season.
I think our pack will have the edge, especially in the last 20mins when our subs will come on. This is where our strength lies this season and we are still in with a shout of 2nd place with what has been described on many occasions as a misfiring back line. What does that say about our forwards? Theyve been tremendously consistent.
Keep it tight and we have a chance....and less kicking from burns please, when we are in attacking positions
Come on you tigers!

Tough away game, good looking Tigers team with a tasty looking bench, I agree how the 10's play will be vital, I think Freddie is growing week by week and expect him to do just fine. Close, but a Tigers win

Not much chance of a win. Just get home safe, injury free with a LBP if you can muster it.

I don't disagree, Dai, but I'm choosing to stick my fingers in my ears and ignore your unnecessarily realistic post.Big Dai wrote:Not much chance of a win. Just get home safe, injury free with a LBP if you can muster it.
Darn it: I just realised you can't happy-clap with your fingers in your ears!

What manner of defeatist goes into a game with a team a mere 2 points ahead of you and says "not much chance of a win" ?!

Re: Saracens v Tigers
IMO we want to be kicking and chasing a lot.
Just my 2 cents stretch Ashton, Wyles and Goode and make there forwards run around some more.
Morris is a very good chaser and Goneva has the speed to put pressure on.
Although dangerous Ashton still isn't a winger like the likes of North, Sinoti etc are who cause us the most damage.
Play territory and let them force things and work we and see with 20 to go how they are handling it.

Re: Saracens v Tigers
After last night's result, if we don't win we will have little chance of a home play off semi. I can't now see Bath not being 2nd - LI (H); Quins (A) and Glaws (H) will make it very difficult for us to pick up 6 points on Bath if we don't win today.
Hehehehehehehehe
