Benjamin's bad luck continues

Post by tigerfeet13 »

BBC reporting that he is crocked for the rest of the season.

A great shame as he has been looking better and better recently.

You make it sound like it's his fault... I'm sure that's not what you mean though.

If we win anything this year it will be a miracle with our luck on injuries. The league is now so competitive that losing a large chunk of your team makes it nigh on impossible. If anything the recent form proves the point - with something like a full side we have won 5 straight, but I fear the damage was done pre-Xmas.

With the best front row in world club rugby, a 10 who's found his kicking boots and a defence that is now functioning (Phil Blake has not received enough credit on the forum IMHO) we still stand a chance - but if I thought we'd get a home semi I'd be feeling more confident.

I fear the worse if Seri Bai gets crocked. We are down to the absolute bare bones in the Centres and I think that would be our season over. I assume Tommy Bell or the big lad Loamonu would cover but it would be a massive ask. I don't want to even imagine Freddie getting hurt.
