I'm not sure whether this current U18 Championship is simply an elaborate set-up for an April Fools joke or not...
The final of the Euro U18 finals this weekend will be played between France and Georgia, after the hosts edged out England 23-19 in the first semi final and after surprise package Georgia sneaked past Italy in a penalty shoot-out in the other semi-final.
Amazingly, that was Georgia's second penalty shoot-out of the tournament, having got to the semis courtesy of a shoot-out win over Ireland in the first round.
Even more amazingly, Portugal have picked up their first win at this level in countless years - also a penalty shoot-out victory after their match against Scotland ended 0-0!
Three penalty shoot-outs in eight games is quite something! And it means that the Georgians are in the final despite not having won a game so far and only scored 14 points in their two games to date (8-8 v Ireland and 6-6 v Italy).
