Exeter at home

Post by tigerburnie »

I note the Merc says we will get all our internationals back and in the match day squad, also Manu and Ant Allen are a long way off. Kitch and Brad are being monitored?
JP Doyle has the whistle, hoping for our strongest squad out this weekend.

COME ON YOU TIGERRRRrrrrsssss

As JP is the best ref, I'm happy he has the whistle for Saturday :smt023

Huge game. I do hope that Ben continues his England form. That may be key.

I would hope we go for the similar rotation that we did at tighthead with Castro and Dan in the past, at hooker. Both Leo and OTY need to be kept happy and in peak form.

Its almost like the start of a mini season - 5 wins give us a home semi, anything else is squeeky bum time.
Team wise, would hope to see something like:
Ayerza Youngs Cole
Parling Kitchener
Gibson Salvi Crane
Youngs Burns
Bai Goneva
Morris Thompstone and Tait

Reps: Ghiraldini Rizzo Logo Barbieri Pearce Harrison Bell Loamanu

We shall see but gonna be epic.

I suspect you're close to the mark with that selection. 12 noon tomorrow we'll find out. Either way it should be a cracking game :smt026

I heard the same viewpoint on radio Leicester last night but it's not accurate.
We're on equal points with Bath who have a massive points advantage on us, without even considering the comparative ease of their run in and the greater likelihood of them getting try bonus points.
It's quite possible that we could win 5 and still be away in the semis.
My prediction is thus:
Saints
Bath
Sarries
Tigers

Which is based on the fact that someone is going to drop the ball in the pressure cooker and I don't think Exeter have the experience to hold their nerve in their remaining fixtures. Having said that, the amount of balls that we've dropped this season...

Smith is probably better defensively than Goneva. Last 20 bring on Goneva.
