Ricoh Arena v Wasps

Post by DanBono »

I'm getting tickets for the Wasps away game at the Ricoh and because I'm not a member or season ticket holder I will be ordering them through Wasps on Friday when they go on general sale. So I was wondering where will Tigers fans be sitting so I can book them in that particular section. Also does anyone know where the away travel coach leaves from at Welford Road?

That link doesn't really answer my questions. Where will Tigers fans be sitting in the stadium so I know where to book for when they go on sale?

I bought tickets in Block 22 through Tigers. If I remember correctly we were offered blocks 21-24, so I guess that's where there'll be a good crowd of Tigers (hopefully there'll be plenty of Tigers all round the stadium!) :smt023

From link these are presumably the Tigers areas.
:- Ticket prices:
Unreserved Standing £25
Seating £25 (West Stand Block 15, Corner), £35 (West Stand, Block 25, Try Line), £40 (West Stand, Block 18, 22) (SA4015).
So you need to book in these areas via Warps website. - easy!

Blocks 21-24 you will be mixed all in with the waspies..

It is the main stand and most of the supporters will be shoved in there.. Thats why on TV it looks empty as they fill that stand and the North one

Would block 22 be best then or is that sold out with our fans?

For away games I tend to find you needn't worry too much about where you're sitting. One way or another you won't be too far from other away supporters, particularly in a game like this when there is a real danger of us outnumbering the home fans.

I can't go to the Ricoh alas. Something else pencilled into my diary that weekend. Simply says "due date"!

Last time I went I was in block 22 although it was mostly Wasps fans.

I say Wasps fans a lot of them have free tickets (I was one of the complimentary but I was a spy :smt002 )

It will put you in line with the 22 line.. As I say though that is the main stand (the one on the other side is narrow and sparsely filled) so you will be with the bulk of the home supporters regardless how how man Tigers would be around you..

Would be nice if we could get 10+k going and actually have more tigers fans there

Does anyone happen to know how long before their last few games Wasps started putting free tickets onto ticketmaster? Planning on going but a freebie would be nice, although if theres one game where they might decide not to give out free tickets its this one

I'm told Wasps v Tigers tickets have just gone on sale and already limited availability in good areas.

Yes, went on general sale this morning. Sounds like it could be heading towards a massive crowd.

Gutted with the timing of it as I doubt I can't go. All for a greater good though, if I miss the birth of my first born because I was in Coventry I shudder to think of the punishment I'd get.
