Strong side although with the likes of Farnworth, Bryant, Beckett, Owen, Roberts, Milne all unavailable we didn't have many other choices.

Great to see Loamanu in there.

Part of me I'll confess is a little disappointed that the young players who got the ball rolling in this tournament won't be able to finish the job. But all things being equal, I'll enjoy watching that. Loamanu at 12 should be interesting!

The starting fifteen includes only two that started against Newcastle last week, neither of whom are currently first choice in their position.
Looks like being a good contest may throw up a couple of healthy selection problems for Cocker back in the Premiership.

Interesting, almost full strength side for international period.

I think Northampton are clearly wanting the double again!

No that's what I meant - that they were unavailable and it would have been nice for them to be able to finish the job.

Sort of...

Resting Day and Clark from the pack but also Dickson, Myler, both Pisis and Wilson in the backs. Looks like they are going for a very strong pack to provide a platform for a very understrength backline.

Certainly they are the side with the most first choice players this weekend, though. Everyone else has rotated much more heavily.

I am pleased to see some of our more experienced players returning from injury in the team but disappointed to see no Jack Roberts. I assume that he is injured but I suppose that we have to try and get our returnees some game time.

I think Stains keep Clark away from the LV these days.

Good looking side, fancy a win at home to both maintain some momentum and also to get a buzz around the club.
