Am I the only that just dosnt really rate Roberts?

He is a good player but IMO a bit like Nonu in terms of I have only ever seen him impress on the international stage, and has yet to put that into a consistent club form.

I wouldn't say no but for the cap would rather target a Saili type player. That's just my thoughts at least.

Interesting article over on Planet Rugby regarding an All Black fly-half/full back looking to move overseas... And his current coach is Aaron Mauger...
He is a world class first five but has the advantage of being able to play virtually anywhere in the back line.

Yep, he's like a slightly more advanced Luther Burrell. I don't get what he does.

Colin Slade? I wouldn't say no to that.

Racing are willing to release him from his contract early without a fee.

Simons is an excellent signing.

If we weren't as strong as we are at lock I would love leicester to have chased him.

Would have preferred Symons over Fitzgerald TBH. Quality player and I wouldn't be suprised if he pushed his way into England contention fairly quickly.

If Colin Slade fancies a move north but knows Mauger so well, why does he have to agitate for a move in a public news article??

As he won't be playing for Wales, a good signing.
If the Dr Roberts signing is true as well, definite signs of intent from Quins
Presumably Gatland won't give a fig.......

I think if Jones had signed for us, he might have been called a journeyman past his best would he not?...................... :smt004

He defintely would be TB :smt003 and to be fair we wouldn't want him anyway we have Cole, Mulipola and the Baltrain hot on their heels..

We have the best tighthead 3 piece in club rugby if you ask me :smt023
