Am I the only that just dosnt really rate Roberts?
He is a good player but IMO a bit like Nonu in terms of I have only ever seen him impress on the international stage, and has yet to put that into a consistent club form.
I wouldn't say no but for the cap would rather target a Saili type player. That's just my thoughts at least.

Couldn't agree more with the above RB
Still will be good to see how he goes in the premiership

Interesting article over on Planet Rugby regarding an All Black fly-half/full back looking to move overseas... And his current coach is Aaron Mauger...
He is a world class first five but has the advantage of being able to play virtually anywhere in the back line.

Yep, he's like a slightly more advanced Luther Burrell. I don't get what he does.RagingBull wrote:Am I the only that just dosnt really rate Roberts?

Colin Slade? I wouldn't say no to that.

Simons is an excellent signing.
If we weren't as strong as we are at lock I would love leicester to have chased him.

Would have preferred Symons over Fitzgerald TBH. Quality player and I wouldn't be suprised if he pushed his way into England contention fairly quickly.

If Colin Slade fancies a move north but knows Mauger so well, why does he have to agitate for a move in a public news article??

As he won't be playing for Wales, a good signing.
If the Dr Roberts signing is true as well, definite signs of intent from Quins
Presumably Gatland won't give a fig.......

I think if Jones had signed for us, he might have been called a journeyman past his best would he not?......................
